We did have one issue with the order. The blackout shade material we ordered has a rough front surface. We also ordered the light blocking aluminum channels for the sides. When the blackout curtain is lowering, if the material makes contact with the front brush on the light blocking channels at all it immediately snags the curtain and the curtain gets stuck and won't lower (motor keeps spooling it out loose at the top). For now we have covered the front brushes on the light blockers with UHMW tape to enable the curtain material to slide on them effectively.
There also weren't any instructions included on how to install the side light blocking channels using the magnetic strips. Which was confusing as the channels are aluminum and not magnetic. Other than these to areas to improve our experience was a 5/5 on the the install and the product looks and feels fantastic!
