First, they are less bulky than an outside mount. If you are installing the blinds in a smaller space, this option won’t protrude into the room at all. It’s also great if you are going for a minimalistic look in your home. They look sleek and are a great choice if you don’t want much attention drawn to the windows. 

The inside mount option is also great if you want to show off the window frame itself. The motorized roller blinds will be entirely inside the window frame with an inside mount. They are also great for windows that aren't deep, since an inside mount requires depth for installation. 

If you want your windows to look bigger than they are, outside mount blinds are great at doing this. Another idea is if you have two smaller windows, but the room would look better with one large window, you can order outside mount smart blinds to cover the area. When you do this, it will appear as only one larger window.
