Simply scan the QR code on the motor to get started. Once set up, you can control your shades anytime, from anywhere—ensuring a comfortable, secure, and energy-efficient home. Create custom scenes in the Apple Home app and use Siri voice commands for hands-free, precise control tailored to your lifestyle.

Multi-Scene Automation

Create a Relaxing Retreat with Multi-Scene Mode
Wake Up

With Apple Home, you can integrate your smart shades into a personalized "Wake Up" scene. Set your shades to automatically rise at your preferred time each morning, letting soft natural light gently wake you and your family. You can also link the shades to your alarm for a seamless and energizing start to your day.

Arrive Home

Make coming home even more welcoming. By adding your smart shades to an "Arrive Home" scene in Apple Home, your shades will automatically open as you arrive, filling your home with natural light and creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere—every time you walk through the door.

Movie Time

Enjoy a cinema-like experience right in your living room. When your "Movie Time" scene is activated, the smart shades quietly lower, gradually dimming the room to eliminate glare. At the same time, your lights dim and your sound system turns on—creating the perfect environment for an immersive movie night.

Good Night

At your scheduled "Good Night" time, the shades will automatically close, offering privacy and a peaceful setting for rest. You can also control this scene with Siri—for example, simply say "Hey Siri, Good Night," and your shades will respond, helping you wind down with ease.

Temperature Control

Integrated with a temperature sensor, your smart shades can help regulate indoor climate and improve energy efficiency. On hot summer afternoons, when your home's temperature exceeds the threshold you set in your scene, the shades automatically close to reduce heat gain—helping to cool your space naturally and lower energy consumption.

  • Note: A HomeKit-compatible temperature sensor is required and must be purchased separately.

Which Apple smart hub do you need?

So, to connect to your Apple Home, you need a smart hub. This smart hub acts as a Matter and Thread border router. That is, the hub creates a Thread network on which your Smart shades can communicate with each other, without needing to be connected to the internet to do so. The following hubs are suitable as Matter and Thread border routers:

  • The Apple HomePod Mini (all generations)
  • The Apple HomePod (2nd generation)
  • The Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, 128GB)
  • The Apple TV 4K (2nd generation)
